Topics and mission

PhilScience Magazine is a platform dedicated to communicating news and ideas about contemporary science, its issues and evolution. The published articles are either science news, interviews, reviews, or scientific/philosophical essays; our audience consists of both experts and the general public.

Our mission is to increase public awareness and interest in science and its philosophy, while focusing on what essentially counts for the science of the future.

A large portion of our resources goes toward supporting science education, including through long-term research projects. We believe that science is communicative, and thus science should not be restricted to the academic audience. For us, seeing subsequent comments from and debates between the readers of a science-magazine article indicates an epistemic advance higher than that made by an academic article claiming a new development in its field.

We expect our readers to be engaged in our mission, and we strive to provide them with interesting and adequately written articles.
